How can I help?
Calluses
Callus, also spelled callous, also called callosity or tyloma, in dermatology, small area of thickened skin, the formation of which is caused by continued friction, pressure, or other physical or chemical irritation.
Corns
Corns are smaller than calluses and have a hard center surrounded by inflamed skin. Corns tend to develop on parts of your feet that don't bear weight, such as the tops and sides of your toes and even between your toes. They can also be found in weight-bearing areas. Corns can be painful when pressed.
Cracked Heels
Cracked heels, also referred to as heel fissures, are a common foot condition, which can cause discomfort or even pain. They result from dry skin and are accompanied by thickened skin, plus sometimes yellow or brown calluses around the heel edge.
Diabetic Footcare
Foot care involves reducing damage from occurring to your feet and regularly checking your feet for any signs of damage. Damage to your feet can be reduced by avoiding walking barefoot, wearing correctly fitting footwear and keeping your feet clean and in good condition.
Fungal Nail Treatment
Definition. Fungal nail infections are common infections of the fingernails or toenails that can cause the nail to become discolored, thick, and more likely to crack and break. Infections are more common in toenails than fingernails. The technical name for a fungal nail infection is “onychomycosis.”
Thickened Nails
Onychauxis is a nail disorder that causes fingernails or toenails to grow abnormally thick. Over time, the nails may become curled and turn white or yellow. This thickening of the nail may force the nail plate (the part you paint with nail polish) to separate from the nail bed.
Verrucas
Verrucas, verrucae or plantar warts are small lesions, rough lumps, warts or growths that are found commonly over certain areas of the feet like the heel and the balls of the feet that commonly bear pressure.
